FED:Abbott says we should count blessings

Federal Opposition Leader TONY ABBOTT says he hopes 2011 will be a year for Australians
to count their blessings.

Mr ABBOTT also says he hopes that 2011 will be a year of lower taxes .. fairer welfare
.. better services and stronger borders.

He says he wants to talk to the Australian people about how best to achieve these important
goals .. and has vowed to do his best to protect Australian families from added burdens
on their cost of living.
