FED:Greens helped save the nation

Australian Greens leader BOB BROWN is claiming his party's responsible for helping
save the country from recession.

The Greens .. along with two other crossbench senators .. supported Labor's second
economic stimulus package in 2008 at the height of the global financial crisis.

The coalition .. after backing the first stimulus .. voted against the second package.

Senator BROWN's told ABC Radio it's the Greens who shielded Australia from recession
and saved hundreds of thousands of jobs.

He's also predicted the Greens will add to their five Senate seats in tomorrow's election.
